Northwest Pipeline Sumas Compressor Station
PSD Permit Amendment

Northwest Pipeline requested to make minor changes to their Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) Permit. The changes include:
  • Monitor carbon monoxide (CO) using a portable emission analyzer at least once every 4,380 hours of operation.
  • Remove the requirement to verify the accuracy of portable analyzers because there is sufficient quality assurance in the test method itself.
  • Streamline the permit to make the requirements more clear.
